Fishing Report we 6th March
Wednesday afternoon, TV show, Hook & Cook were on board to shoot an episode. So out we went to yonkers for morwong, snapper, pigfish and maori wrasse to be cooked up on the back deck by Paul, who made a fish stew for the people on board. It wasn’t too shabby either I can tell you.
Saturday, unfortunately had to be canned due to strong winds.
Sunday, Shane and crew were on board for dad’s 40th birthday. Tuna on the troll, leatherjackets, big nannygi, some tiger flathead, a ripper bonito on the bottom gear (wasn’t that fun!) and a couple of good morwong. Not bad considering only half the crew fished with the rest joining the weight loss program.
Sunday arvo, Kate brought her husband, brother, sister-in-law, mum and birthday boy dad Ray who turned 60, down from Bathurst. The girls showed up the boys again with biggest morwong and snapper but dad got the catch of the day with a good john dory and 2 buckets of leatherjackets.
Happy days for everybody.
Midweek’s and afternoons trips available, 6.00 am & 2.30pm till dark during Daylight Savings.
Listen to 96.5 Wave FM Saturday and Sunday 6.15am for weekend fishing reports.
Until next week,
Cheers, Captain Roscoe TM
