Fishing Report we 24th April
"STEVE WITH HIS WINNING SNAPPER & MORWONG, SATURDAY"
Our first trip was Good Friday when Heath and the boys from Mt
Warrigal made the exhausting trip down to Kiama and were rewarded with
some great weather. The fishing started slow because of the lack of
drift but once it started they ended up with a great mixed bag of
snapper, morwong and pigfish.
Saturday, Revy’s Auto Electrical (ph 4295 6580) crew also received a
great day of both weather and fishing with morwong, snapper, pigfish
and some great nannygi. Steve top scored with a 2.5kg Snapper and 2kg
morwong.
Captain Matt reported that both crews went away with a terrific BBQ
and some stories to tell.
Unfortunately, Sunday was postponed due to Captain Roscoe’s ill health.
At the moment Captain Matt will be in charge until I am back on deck
in the not too distant future. In lieu of flowers, donations can be
made to Captain Roscoe’s retirement fund at Gerringong Bowling Club!
I hope everyone had a great & safe Easter.
Listen to 96.5 Wave FM Saturday and Sunday 6.15am for weekend fishing reports.
Until next week,
Cheers, Captain Roscoe TM
