FISHING REPORT we 22ND JANUARY
"CANDICE'S CREW, SUNDAY"
The week started Tuesday when Peter and family were down from Penrith, joined by Maltese Mick. They scored a decent feed to take home but unfortunately, even though it was a calm day, the weight loss program struck the wives, who after years of “Take me fishing” have decided it’s a boys thing. But they ended up with snapper, morwong and Mick picked up a good stripy on the way home.
Saturday, Ross and 5 mates were joined by the 4 boys Leah booked in. Morwong, flathead and big nannyguy along with leatherjackets were the order of the day. Tom’s crew were depleted a bit by the weight loss program but still morwong, flathead, nannyguy and leatherjackets made up a BBQ afternoon for them.
Sunday, Candice, Natalie and the twins joined Peter & Meredith and Daniel and 4 mates. Peter got some nice nannyguy, Candice’s crew got morwong, flathead, nannyguy & leatherjackets. Daniel’s crew filled two buckets with the same. With conditions getting harder to fish, we pulled stumps early to be greeted in the harbour with the kid’s fishing comp and I must say congratulations to the organizers and sponsors, as the crowd seemed as big, if not bigger this year. It’s great to see Mums and Dads, Aunties and Uncles and Grandparents having as much fun as the kids.
We have spots this Friday and spots midweek during the school holidays. Give us a call on 0423 251 603.
Listen to 96.5 Wave FM Saturday and Sunday 6.15am for weekend fishing reports.
Until next week,
Cheers, Captain Roscoe TM
