Fishing Report we 13th March
"WARWICK'S CREW ON SATURDAY"
Saturday, what a ripper day.
Warwick and his crew were treated to great weather and fishing. Out to 60 fathoms for big nannygi and heaps of leatherjackets. Some of the “princes’ on board found the depth a bit challenging so we came in shallower for some great morwong.
Sunday morning, Luke’s crew, nearly all from Dorahy’s butchers at Unanderra and again 60 fathoms was the target and the nannygi were there and the leatherjackets again. We moved in close to help everyone’s shoulders and were rewarded with morwong and some great pigfish. As usual the girls shone.
Sunday arvo, Brendan from Crawler Hydraulic & Heavy Machinery Repairs (45714002) brought a crew on board. As the nor’ easter picked up we headed north and in close we were rewarded with good morwong and heaps of snapper, most around 34cm. But dad got the catch of the week with a rather tenacious 3.5ft snapper shark (many a tune played on an old fiddle) which supplied heaps of fillets for everyone. There were a couple who joined the weight loss program but still had a good afternoon.
Midweek’s and afternoons trips available, 6.00 am & 2.30pm till dark during Daylight Savings.
Listen to 96.5 Wave FM Saturday and Sunday 6.15am for weekend fishing reports.
Until next week,
Cheers, Captain Roscoe TM
